Appigo ToDo is my fave.
Considering I've spent about $80 on all the others I tried at the app store and the desktop versions..
I use Toodledo as my "desktop" app just because of ToDo.

Never knew the older version. But I'm definitely keeping this one for the long haul.

Hi Audrie,

Yes, you can create sub-tasks on the iPhone. There are a couple of ways to do it.

First, you need to have a Project that you are going to populate with sub-tasks. When you create the project, after givin it a name, click on "type" - the default is normal so change to Project.

Then you can go into the your project and clicking on the + in the top right will produce a sub-task for your Project.

Once you have as project, you can also move existing tasks into it. Go to edit a task and go down to Actions. In this menu you can choose move to project and you will have a list of your current projects to choose from. You can also move tasks out of a project and into a different one in this menu.

I hope this helps - I think there are some videos on the Appigo site which will show this better than I can.

Take Care!

So, can you create sub-tasks on the iPhone? I do not have a desktop app that I use, but I do use the ToDo app on my iPhone, however, I cannot figure out how to create sub-tasks.
Anyone know?

Hey Tom,

Thanks very much for commenting. Although I try and use some of David Allen's ideas, I wouldn't claim to be a classic GTD guy, although I am making an effort to work more closely to his methods.

I appreaciate the tip re Action Lists. I have not tried this one so I'll make a point of checking it out. I hope it handles sub-tasks. Because I use sub-tasks extensively in Toodledo, an iPhone app without them doesn't work for me.

Thanks again for stopping by.

It sounds like you use GTD with Toodledo. You might want to check out Action Lists. It syncs with Toodledo and is built around the GTD way of doing things. I like it because it's got a really clean interface. I've used Appigo's app and it works well, but it has so much going on visually that it's distracting. And really, that's the last thing you want from a productivity tool.

How's it going Carl? Thanks for visiting and for commenting.

My list of blog to-dos seems to never get any smaller, there is always something new going to to write about.

I realy like my current combination of Todo on the iPhone syncing with Toodledo online - works really well for me.

Hey... Your ToDo's look a lot like mine! haha -- though, I can help with one: Adwords AND SEO.

I used OmniFocus on a Mac for a while but I keep falling back to TextEdit (NotePad) as the most free-form/expressive way of keeping my stuff organized. And, a iCal for hard deadlines.
