  • Great podcast, David. Nice coverage on what's happening with 12for12k, twitter outage, FB/Friendfeed, spam - you hit all the highlights! Interesting about ScanSource, nice to see companies trying to do social media right. Interesting approach from IBM, interesting to see how it works out, how long have they been using it? Will follow @markshaw, sounds interesting.

Thanks for the comment Roger. I'm still trying to get the podcast thing sorted, but it's getting there. At the moment it is taking me ages to get everything together and edited.

Regarding the IBM guide, I'm not sure but I think it might have been around for a couple of years. I think it is a great idea - encourage your people to get involved in various forms of social media; even help them do it. Just remind them that this comes with certain responsibilities - really important in a business like IBM that spans many regions and cultures.

Much better then the running scared approach that you see sometimes.
